I wish I could give negative zero review. Normally I am not one to complain, but unfortunately my experience was unsatisfying. I arrived 6am hoping to check-in, the desk staff informed me my room would not be ready until check-in at morning and He told me to come after 12 and try checking in. So I left my luggage at the hotel, looked around the city of Manhattan, and arrived back to the hotel after 12 p.m. received unbelievably rude service from a front desk staff Jaime.
I told him I had come to check in and gave him my name. He said he couldn't find my name on the check-in list, and he responded to me consistently with a very annoying and arrogant expression. I was very confused but calmly showed my reservation email, and he sighed again and said with a rude look that I had already checked in. I only tried to check in after 12 o'clock at the direction of the staff I met in the morning, which was a problem with their system, and it wasn't my fault, but I felt ridiculous and terrible about his attitude that I was wrong.
Even if it was a miscommunication with the staff I met in the morning, I wanted to let him know that his attitude was very wrong and to share my experience to caution future guests or those who considered staying at this hotel.
I visited New York for the first time, and the first person I talked to was Jaime. It was very disappointing, but now that it was the first day, I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, I tried to forget his arrogant attitude experience
