Nice experience. Rooms are really nice size. Bigger than expected. Staff were polite and friendly. Not located on the best area but couldn’t complain as it’s 2 mins walk from subway station. Very accessible.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel during our family trip to New York for Christmas. The property exceeded our expectations in every way. Its proximity to the city made it an ideal location for exploring, while the spacious room provided a comfortable retreat after a busy day. The staff was outstanding, offering helpful and accommodating service throughout our stay. Based on this wonderful experience, I will undoubtedly choose this hotel again for future visits. Good price, pretty nice inside and definitely safe. The subway station is 3 minutes away from the hotel, which makes it very easy to get to Manhattan. But there is one big minus - the area where the hotel is located. The area is very dirty, constantly smells of grass, homeless people, it is very dangerous to come back in the evening. And another unpleasant minus - there was no possibility to take a bath, only a shower, because the drain closing system was broken.

$275 per night for this type of place is insane. Really crappy neighbourhood. Streets are covered in trash, and plenty of creepy looking individuals. This neighborhood evidently has other, more urgent and serious problems than accommodating tourists. Old hotel with a bit of charm. Very spacious room. Some of the staff were not very friendly. Not rude, but just not welcoming. A smile goes a long way. But the bottom line is the price. For $275/night I expect better everything.

The hotel itself is lovely and the history of it is fascinating. My room was clean and well maintained. The only complaint I had was the lack of dining options and the fact that the roads and sidewalks outside of the hotel were dirty and had lots of trash on the road. That's not the fault of the hotel however. Just something to be aware of!

Great stay near the subway and Yankee stadium. Neighborhood isn’t the greatest but the hotel is beautiful and safe. Rooms are specious too!

Great Hotel just too bad you are located in such a tough neighborhood, but it was very convenient to get together with family. NEED TO CHANGE THE SOAP DISPENSERS!!! They are horrible. Need to have hands of steel to get the lotion out.

Excellent. Great service. Appreciated the breakfasts. Staff are very nice. Area is sketchy but fine. There is limited parking at the venue (call ahead and ask if there is space). Rooms are spacious and clean. Bring your own soap (we did not like the dispensers - they are a bit hard to use). Close to metro.

This hotel is very nice but the neighborhood and surrounding areas is horrible. Thank god im fto nyc so i know how to manuever around. The breakfast was horrible. It was nothing but bread, coffeee, cereal and sweets. No variety at all each day was the same. Will not be returning.
