The Bowery Hotel is a gem in NYC’s Lower East Side. It’s stylish, cozy, and full of character, with vintage-inspired rooms, big windows, and great city views. The staff is friendly and always helpful.

If you prefer the nouveau sheen and ostentatious sterility of present-day New York, do not stay here. Please. There are countless banal and pretentious options that would better suit your needs. This is not one of them. However, if you have a desire for subtle luxury and intend to spend some time hibernating with your flame between indulging your impeccable taste via dining, shopping, and consuming once-private collections; book a room. The staff are some of the best I’ve encountered. Anywhere. The lobby is worthy of half a day of loafing. The room service affords 24 hour access to Gemma, the far above average restaurant next door. Hotels like The Bowery instill hope that NYC is still the city so nice they named it twice.

Totally unique experience from the moment you walk through the doors. Interior decor is outstanding and a step back in time to old New York with such attention to detail that is an experience in itself.
