Hidden Gem

The Jewel is a hidden gem in New York. I’ve stayed here several times during business and leisure trips. It’s a great location and the staff is very friendly.

Great NYC hotel

Great location, friendly staff and super clean. We stayed two nights, and as was very cold spent more time in the room. The living room on the 2 nd floor a great feature as is comfortable with good coffee so nice place to relax. Gym was well equipped and clean

Great hotel, minor issues.

The hotel is great. Absolutely marvelous location. This is my second time returning there. However in the long weekend that I was there unfortunately my room was never cleaned nor the trash picked up. Also checking was not so greatm I sat there unnoticed for like 10 min while everyone arriving was being helped. However, getting a cab for my trip back to the airport was set without any issues.

Excellent boutique hotel located on Rockefeller Plaza. Queen room was spacious enough for 2 of us, with large bathroom. Very quiet and clean, friendly and helpful staff are always available in the lobby. They will hold your luggage before check in and after checkout, and give you access to the Living Room on the second floor for beverages, restroom, computer, etc. Filtered water and bottles available on each floor is a welcome feature.

Wonderful stay, strongly recommend

Wonderful from start to finish. Great service -- I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and no one has ever taken my bags to my room for me, without being asked, while I was out for the afternoon, just as a courtesy. Clean, modern room, comfortable for 3 adult-sized people for one night with pullout couch. Easy walk to Times Square, and right next to Radio City and Rockefeller Center. Somehow, even facing a busy street, we didn't hear a peep of traffic noise all night, and everyone slept well. Great coffee on the second floor! And even a water dispenser in the hallway that we used to refill. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. One minor thing: The two bathroom doors that close at a right angle is cool, but if you don't know your roommate well, that door style might feel like it doesn't provide enough privacy. (For us it was fine.) Thanks so much!

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel and the rooms are clean and well maintained. My bed was very comfortable and the room was so quiet that I slept very well. The Jewel will be my go to hotel for my NYC visits.

This is as close to the middle of the action you can get without paying 'being in the middle of the action.' Easy access to 5th Ave, Times Square, and Rockefeller Center. Very walk-able. Will definitely stay here again!!
