This is our go to hotel when we visit NYC! The doormen are always so kind and helpful. I love having security there when we return at night. Everyone is always so wonderful accommodating, & pleasant. The rooms are immaculate! I have stayed here for my 6 trips so far. It is convenient to all the best restaurants and Broadway shows!

The location is great. The property is very nice. The check-in was very slow and after a long day of traveling it made it frustrating that there were only 2 counter clerks checking in a long line of people.

I love Westin hotels and over the years have lot of good memories in them. The Westin at Time Square is in a great location. The room was spacious and staff were helpful. However, the room was not as clean as other Westin Hotels and the fridge was not working. House keeping should pay attention to these basic room cleaning and amenities.

A wonderful hotel on the edge of Times Square. Being on 8th and 43rd across from Port Authority can be a bit daunting, but nothing compared to the area 40 years ago. That aside, the staff and facility was genuinely wonderful. Prices in the Landry Bar and Restaurant are high... but it is NYC. Room service I woudnt suggest. A breakfast of scrambled eggs and orange juice arrived on time, but in a bag and poorly presented with plastic forks and no coffee included came to $51.00. But again... NYC. Above Average pricing for less than average quality. I grew up in Manhattan so I am familiar with standard fare. Great room though VERY Comfortable Bedding. Bathroom was great too. Just dont eat there if not ready to pay huge prices for mediocre quality Go across the street

Our stay at the Westin New York at Time Square was great! The concierge and bell hops greeted us at the door and took care of our luggage. We checked in and they brought our luggage to our room. The check in process was easy and straight forward. Our room was clean and spacious. There were four of us in our room. We had two double beds and it was perfect. I highly recommend the Westin at Time Square.

Location is king, but it's loud
The room was clean and comfortable. However it had a door to an adjoining room and we could hear everything from the next room (conversation, hair dryer etc). There's a lot of traffic in the area, so you can really hear all the cars and buses honking through the night. So might be good to bring some earplugs. Additionally, the room did not have a mini fridge which was inconvenient. All of the inconveniences are outweighed by the great location, and friendly and helpful staff.

I reserved a specific room with the intention of bringing my 80 year old mother and sister. Which means the room was reserved with intention. On arrival, I was advised the room I chose was not available. We were put in a lesser quality room with smaller beds and a filthy mini bar. I was initially told I would not be charged the more expensive room rate for that first night. And we were moved to the originally booked room for the remaining two nights. Upon check out I was advised the fault lay with Expedia not the Westin and thus there would be no correction to the cost of the room the first night.The Westin waived the “Destination fee” (another bogus way to hike costs and profit) and gave me two free breakfast and two drinks. I was advised Expedia does not guarantee rooms. The whole exchange felt shady and intended to pass costs to the traveler. It reminded me why I avoid this kind of travel. I will not use Expedia again. And I do not fully trust the Westin either.

Check in employee who assisted with giving us our room key was extremely rude and was not accommodating at all. We had booked a 3 person room but only 1 bed was provided. Upon booking the trip the room accommodations strictly Mentioned a king bed pull out. When we asked about the pull out front desk said impossible and we were expected to pay for it. Needless to say the customer service was extremely unacceptable.
