I stayed here 2 nights. The “white” towels were covered in stains and had loose hair on them. ALL OF THEM. Half of the room light didn’t not turn on. The balcony door was broken. The floor is uneven. Caution to handicap individuals! Conditioner dispenser was empty. Door keycard stopped working after the first night

For the price, this place was solid. We were only in NYC for one night but it was perfect for it. Steps from Ground Zero memorial, steps from the subway (R, W), staff was friendly, safe, rooms were big enough. Only complaint is the ac/heater unit wouldnt turn off. Even when we turned it to "off" it would turn itself onto AC - we stayed in late Nov so we did not want AC haha. Once we switched to heat it was fine but then it would get super hot. Lots of storage space in the room. If you're in NY for a short time, this is perfect.

This was a perfect option for my New York trip, offering convenient, walkable access to Convene at one-third the cost of the brand-name hotel next door. It was definitely slightly awkward in places, like a quirky preteen just beginning a glow-up. But if you can overlook some mismatched furniture and unfinished-looking spaces, you’ll enjoy the comfy bed and pillows, the modern bathroom, the character of exposed brick and large windows, and the convenience of having a full-size fridge in your room. Lobby amenities are minimal, but front desk staff was helpful, if not overly friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, you may be disappointed. And like many NYC locations, street noise can be an issue. However, if you want a decent room at an excellent price, and you BYO earplugs, you’ll love it! There’s even a subway stop literally right outside the door.

Great stay, comfortable and walkable to Wall St.
I very much enjoyed my stay and booked it a second and third time. The bedding and the room was very comfortable. Aside from the soap products I would have thought this was a high end hotel.

Place needs work. Rooms are like an unfinished basement with a bed in it. Our outdoor "patio" was full of construction materials and no furniture set out. Front desk person told me I could park out front and not pay however I was rapidly dealt a Parking ticket for 65$. When I went back in to ask the front desk person why she said "Sorry, I live in Flushing" . Also feel I was charged more for room than it was advertised on Expedia for. How is that for a review?
