It was a lovely hotel in a perfect location. Loads of restaurants, cafes nearby and of course central park was super close. Wonderful staff, Jeremy at the reception gave brilliant dining recommendations. The room was small but okay for a short trip.

The hotel is very clean with kind, helpful staff. The WiFi worked well and the area is quiet at night, but convenient with food, subway, Central Park nearby. I appreciated the free water (seltzer as well), coffee and tea. There is also a snack shop with microwave and self checkout for the food. All of those conveniences helped to make things so easy.

Nice place, check room size carefully before rent
Over $1400 was way too much for a room so small. We were induced by a per night cost of $500 something but in the end it was much more expensive. The room was very nice but so small it induced claustrophobia in one of the three of us. Also, there was no where to sit other than on the bed.

Great location
The location is excellent—very close to the park, within walking distance of museums. The building is old—so a quaint, awesome old elevator, beautiful building. The rooms are well appointed but very small. Super comfy bed and linens. Plenty of outlets, complimentary water, good shower, safe in room, windows do open, 24-hour front desk staff and a self serve concession for small items. There are two sets of two stairs to enter the building. One elevator, our door didn’t shut all the way on its own, we could hear our neighbors (and they could probably hear us), a bit expensive for the size but it is a great manhattan location so there you go.

Precious girl at the front desk, X. I have forgotten the spelling of her name but she was friendly, helpful and so engaging and enjoyable. We had a lovely stay. Room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed.

The queen size room had just enough room for the bed AND THE SINK IN THE BEDROOM! The bathroom was just big enough for the toilet and the tub. The room faced a brick wall which was 10’ away.

Excellent coffee!
What I really appreciated is the excellent coffee provided in the lobby. My only (very minor) complaint is that there were not real drinking glasses in the room....only cheap plastic cups like you would get at a Motel 6. At this price point, a hotel should have real glasses.
