My stay at the Kenilworth was great. However, what I will never forget is how front desk clerk Ibrahim went above and beyond early in the morning of Oct. 18 when I checked out. I exited the Lyft that he had called for my ride to EWR and panicked to discover that I had left my phone in the back seat. United ground staff Ingrid called the Kenilworth, handed her phone to me, and I told Ibrahim what had happened. He was calm and kind and said he'd call the Lyft driver and would call Ingrid's phone back. I went back out to the curb to see if maybe I had dropped my phone. About 10 min. later, Ingrid came running out and said that the Kenilworth clerk called back to say he'd reached my Lyft driver, who was circling back to the airport to give me my phone. Incredible! I will forever be grateful for the kindness of these three individuals who didn't know each other, but whose kindness worked in tandem to turn what could have been a very bad day into my deep appreciation for their willingness to go above and beyond to help a stranger. The Kenilworth is a great hotel, but what stands out is the excellent customer service, especially from a young man named Ibrahim.

This hotel was very clean, quiet, with easy check in and check out. They do offer free airport transportation via a shuttle or a complimentary lyft ride. However it was sometimes hard to get a hold of front desk in order to book. But that doesnt change the fact that we loved our stay and if we are in the area again we will be back!
