The gal at the front desk was so kind and helpful. I got there early to see if I could switch rooms and not only did she find a room that I wanted, she allowed me to check in very early. I was heading to a family event and knew it would be late when I got back so checking in then was such a help to me.

Cost effective little gem!
I book rooms at the Hampton Inn (Hilton) in Solon in order to make my appointments at the Cleveland Clinic. It is about a 30 min drive to the clinic from Solon. What I love is that it is much cheaper than staying closer and there are several restaurants right next to the hotel. One of them is a Longhorn Steakhouse and you get a discount off your meal if you are staying at the hotel. This hotel is always clean and well maintained. Dale at the front desk is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I have returned several times and always feel good about my decision to stay there.

Dale was very helpful, professional and friendly, during check in. We stayed on the second floor as soon as you stepped off the elevator there was an awful smell. Rooms could probably use some updating. Overall the stay was good.

Could of been better
The hotel seamed very nice. Very clean. The first thing i noticed was there was no freezer slot in the mini fridge as there usually is. Once in a while there isnt and i ask the staff to put my ice pack in the kitchen freezer, and they are always happy to. But not here. I asked and she just didnt think they had a customer freezer and called for help. They said no, they couldnt do it. I asked again, are you sure you just cant put it in your main freezer? Nope. Couldnt believe it. The carts they use to bring in your luggage is a joke. Those little triangle things that barely hold 2 things. And then as you try to roll them across your cobble stone driveway, everything falls off. The toilet handle needed to be held down to flush. Your breastfast was horrible. Not sure what you intended with the make your own burritos but it was a huge flop. The crumbled bacon and sausage i guess iy was was horrible and you need a decent salsa to go with it. Not those hot sauce packets. I was looking for a hotel base for our continued hospital procedures but i guess i need to keep looking. That was another thing. Every hotel in the area gives hospital patients a discount. But not this one.
