We have previously stayed at the QT which is much more central in location. The staff in the bar were fabulous. The room was compact but very quiet and exceedingly comfortable

I cannot fault Little National Newcastle. The service was brilliant at every level, the room was lovely, comfortable and so functional, right down to divine toiletries and a hairdryer so powerful I'm buying one for myself. We had lovely drinks at the bar and were totally impressed by the library and its many work areas. Sunday morning breakfast at the newly-opened Monte cafe is a must not just for guests but for locals. Strongly recommend.

Rooms are incredible. Having everything you need. Well payed out and nice lil you he’s like fluffy robes and choccies with nighttime tea on the bed. They have thought of everything. Terrific view from room. I’m one of those sleepers who needs it to be dead quiet so I find the AC humming noise a little hard to sleep but overall a fantastic stay!

Great friendly staff, very helpful, service is exceptional. The bar staff over a service that feels like you in a million dollar hotel. Finished used in this hotel is in a class above the rest. I must say the hotel exceeded my expectations. Ultra modern and in a central location in downtown Newcastle. Very comfortable room, bed and pillows leading to a great well rested sleep. I will stay there again. It was excellent value for money in comparison to other hotels nearby.

Feel a bit conflicted with my stay at the Little National. It’s a beautiful modern new build but my apartment room was terrible. For some reason I was given a wheelchair accessible room - great that LN offers these rooms but for an able person, the wheelchair accessible room left me feeling like I was staying in a hospital room complete with a wheelchair toilet, support seating in the shower and support rails. Adding to my disappointing room experience, the fridge had a very loud rattle which housekeeping just turned off for me in the end and there were hairs in my bed, in the bathroom sink and shower. The next day, housekeeping also left cleaning cloths in the kitchenette. On the plus side, I did have a wonderful experience in the lounge bar. Great space, fantastic menu and I had a wonderful cocktail (or three) and a couple of delicious share plates delivered with exceptional service. Nearly didn’t want to stay the second night booked as I was so put off with my room and it’s a shame as the hotel has so much potential.
