Absolutely fabulous, was blown away by how good The Briers was. Vastly exceeded expectations and will look to always stay there in future when in Newcastle to play golf at Royal County Down. Luxurious bedrooms, bedding, etc and such a peaceful setting. Wish I’d been staying longer.

Darren is a fabulous host. Incredibly friendly, outgoing and informative. His property is beautiful he he does an amazing job of making you feel at home. He provided us with recommendations to a fabulous restaurant and recommended that we make time to stroll the waterfront, which we did and were so happy we did! We already have plans to stay at The Briers Country house again.

Checked all the boxes for a relaxing visit
Very relaxing property with privacy yet very short drive to all the amenities of downtown Newcastle. The owner and host Darren is fantastic. He made certain I had everything needed to enjoy my stay, even provided me with a universal adapter to charge my phone. The Briers exceeded my expectations to the point where I extended my stay and I will definitely be back as a future guest.
