The dining experience was disappointing. The manager did offer to not charge us, but as we had been given complimentary desserts and had drinks we felt it was fair to pay. Service was not its usual standard, but that maybe because it was busy. Stepped on 2 small stones in bare feet in the bedroom and the tv was at an odd angle to watch in bed. Bathroom was immaculate and plenty of complimentary coffee in bedroom.

While this doesn't have the 'historical' appeal of some other hotels in the area, it is clean, bright, spacious, with amenities that make the stay easy and enjoyable (e.g., air conditioning, front desk, restaurant). It is also right in the middle of Newmarket, so convenient to everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good value for the price.
