A short 0.5-mile walk will find you at South Fistral Beach where surfing enthusiasts will marvel at the swell and others can delight in the beachside restaurant complex. Just 1 mile in the other direction from the house is Newquay town centre, with several popular surfing beaches, local shops and supermarkets, independent restaurants and bars and Newquay Golf Club.
