Very disappointing experience at Advanced Inn Motel in Niagara Falls, ON. I booked a room through Expedia for last weekend, but upon arrival, the room was nothing like what was advertised. It was dirty, the bathroom was unsanitary, the bedsheets appeared used, and there was hair and stains throughout the room. When I brought these issues to the staff's attention and asked for a new room or proper cleaning, they refused and only offered to change the bedsheets, making the excuse that the person who cleaned the room was a "hairy person." This response was unprofessional and unacceptable. Due to these conditions, I left within 15 minutes and checked into another hotel. When I requested a refund through Expedia, the manager falsely claimed that I had stayed for several hours, despite me providing proof that only 55 minutes had passed between checking into Advanced Inn and the subsequent hotel. Expedia tried to resolve this by claiming these were minor cleanliness issues and initially offered me a $25 voucher, which I declined. They later increased it to $50, which I accepted just to avoid spending more time on this mess.
I'm writing this to warn future travellers. I strongly recommend avoiding this place to prevent being scammed like I was. I wish I could add photos here, but Expedia doesn't allow it. Please have a look at my Google review before selecting this place. Don’t be misled by the positive reviews here.
