The hotel was located close to the airport but far away from the part of town we preferred to be (old town), so it was a long walk to the restaurants. It is across the street from the beach but only some rooms have a few of the sea, ours was on the back of the hotel overlooking other apartments.
Check in wasn't easy. Took a while for someone to actually show up at the front desk, we kept calling out, hello but it was a good 7 minute wait. Then she goes through all these rules including the fact we needed to clean the kitchen and take out the trash. I've never been asked to take out my own trash at a hotel.
The room was a "studio" with a very tiny kitchen, if you can call it that. More like a wetbar, and the bathroom was so small, you had to step into the shower to get in the bathroom to be able to close the door. A pocket door would be a better solution.
Room was clean but dated and worn. Chips in the floor, just looked old but we figured for one night it was fine, as our stay wasn't by choice, our flight was cancelled. Bed was hard and pillows had a strange scent. Down filled maybe.
There was a balcony that overlooked the city, which was nice. And breakfast was surprisingly good. Best part was the breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants, eggs, etc. So, great job on the breakfast.
Construction on the floor below and perhaps they're updating. Air condtioner didn't quite cool the room but, I felt safe where the hotel was located and it served it's purpose.
