The place and the hotel is ok, soundproof, and had a good sleep. The down side is that i have booked a deluxe room, and ive been given a small basic room with no balcony no extras in it as it was said in my booking.once i asked in the reception i was lied in the face that i haven’t book a deluxe. I had to check with expedia customer support,and the confirmed that my room should be a deluxe.they tried several time to sort the problem with the hotel but nothing.happened.luckily i stayed for a short time,even tho i have to spend time now and take it forward. Im definitely disappointed and didn’t got a holiday i paid for.i believe they do scam People with pictures and sell something completely different.once u ask they lie and say they can do nothing because they fully booked.

We were very happy with the staff, especially those at the reception desk. We met four of them over the nine days that we stayed. This hotel is an excellent kicking off place to many of the locations up and down the Côte d’Azur. We were offered an upgrade in our room yet we were pleased with the quiet nature of the rear facing option vs the busy street view. Our choice. The cleaning staff, we had every second day and they reset the room properly and very much to our satisfaction. We were greeted on our entrance and exit from the hotel every day, this was exceptional for a longer stay. The hotel is close to any forms of transportation, yet walkable within the district or into the main attractions of Nice. We would certainly recommend and return to this location. The rooms were quiet and we heard no one else during our stay.

I really wasn't impressed especially with the dour reception staff. I'd said beforehand it was a special mother & daughter birthday trip and I'd like a nice room - no conversation at all at reception! My daughter had laid balloons out on my bed the next morning and the maid just threw them on the floor. Tea/Coffee station wasn't filled and when we went to ask for milk and sugar the man at reception didn't seem happy. No plugs at all at the bed. Breakfast wasn't worth the money, too little and too cramped. The bath robes were threadbare and I got 4 bites which came from inside the bed! The separate toilet was so unsanitary with no sink or even hand sanitiser in it.... Never stayed in a hotel with reception staff being so unfriendly plus one had left his unfinished lunch beside the lift. Def not the standard I'd expect from Best Western.

Our flight landed before check in time. We were very pleased that the hotel had a luggage storage area to store our suitcases. By stowing our luggage, we could enjoy a nice day of sightseeing in the nearby area of our hotel.

The hotel is well situated in the center of Nice on a pedestrian section of the Avenue Jean Medicine therefor we were dropped ,by our taxi driver, away from the hotel and we had to carry our luggage and suitcases a significant distance. the room had no refrigerator. In the bathroom there were neither bars of soap nor shampoo.

Really clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Stayed in twin deluxe rooms. Good air-conditioning. 15 mins walk to beach. 10 mins walk to station. Lots of places to eat. Monoprix supermarket. La Brioche Chaude opposite for breakfast. Kettle in room and mini fridge. Can get tram from terminal 2 of airport to Jean Medecin tram station stop.

Better than nice in Nice!
We loved this stay for so many reasons. So close to the train station, shops and just a short walk to great restaurants in Old Nice. Proximity to the beach and promenade was also a bonus. Our hotel room felt like you had entered a sound proof room. With padded walls and extremely comfortable beds, even facing the main street was quite quiet at night for sleeping. Plentiful hot water and a rain shower with great pressure was the icing on the cake. The room and bathroom/shower look like they have had a recent upgrade and it looks fantastic. The mini fridge, kettle and complementary coffee/tea in the room was also a nice touch. Breakfast was well worth the 13 euros. Hotel front desk staff were super helpful for all sorts or questions and recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
