Good hostel, great location but bedbugs incident
Great location, friendly staff, offers a fun pub crawl and good common area. Hostel is small but cozy. My review is the way it is because of the fact we got bedbugs on the first night we spent there. The staff promptly took care of the situation and sprayed the whole room, luggage, changed sheets, etc. We did not get any bites after that and our travels continued without any more bites. It is always a possibility to get bedbugs at a hostel, but any time you get them is a buzz kill.

Great place to stay
My husband and I usually opt for 2-3 star accommodation but we picked this hostel with a private bathroom for Nice. Overall it was great, good location, clean, aircon (which is annoyingly rare on our trip through the France summer) and friendly staff. The one slight downfall was that our room was very close to the reception desk and the walls are very thin so we could hear people speaking late at night and early in the morning. However, in selecting a hostel we weren’t expecting silence anyway so just used earbuds. Overall, would recommend this place for a budget conscious couple.

We travelled 2 families with a party of 11pax. Excellent experience and very clean room, very friendly staff. Location is extremely ideal to town, beach, and public transport. Strongly recommended.

The hostal staff was super friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and clean. Great location. One of the best hostals I've ever stayed in. Would definitely stay with them again if back in Nice.

Cheap hostel, don't expect much
Arrived late in the evening for a one-night stay. Would not want to stay longer as a couple: the room just contains two beds with dated sheets and blankets. Cleanliness was dubious. Elevator is not usable for hostel guests. On the plus side, location is great and would hostel would likely be suitable for backpackers.

Need to improve cleanliness
The location was good. BUT clealiness was too bad to sleep well. Especially I was very skeptical if hotel was doing laundry of bed spread and covers. Bedclothes had a hole made by cigarette and were dirty. I had a room at second floor. I rarely slept due to noisiness of reception hall. Hotel should make a rule not to talk loudly at the reception hall after 10 pm for considering sleepong guests. Anyway it wad the least accomodation ever. But the reception clerk was very kind and nice.

Because of a booking mess up on my behalf, we stayed in 3 different rooms, but they were all lovely. When we checked in and noticed the booking error, the lady at reception was very helpful in accommodating us, even though the hostel was completely full one day. Very helpful and in a good location too.

I stayed during off-peak season so the hostel was really quiet and the common spaces were very clean and comfortable. However I was told that the summer times are crazy packed with tourist so I can't really speak on how the busy season is. The off-peak was pretty perfect tho.

The hostel is in a great location. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only real complaint was the bed being very squeaky. The smallest movements resulted in a loud squeak. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Everything you need in Nice
A perfectly situated hostel right in the heart of Nice. Surrounded by bars and restaurants and a short walk (1 block) to the beach. comfortable rooms with clean linen and towels and very helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone visiting Nice on a budget

Location is good~
The location of this hostel is good, however, you cannot expect too much about the room and the entire hostel, it's really a hostel and you have to step up to first floor without elevator. Fortunately, the staff is very nice and helpful.

Good for young backpackers, who aren't going to be staying the room much. Great food next door and few min walk to the beach. Location is good, but I wouldn't stay there again!

Great neighbourhood and ambiance
Magical experience - talented guitarist playing outside our open window overlooking a pedestrian street at twilight. Great neighbourhood, close to Old Nice. Extremely knowledgeable, interesting and helpful staff.

Book this if you can't find better
We were told we would get a functional private bathroom and during our stay the toilet was broken. Also no air conditioning and they only gave us a fan our second night, which was also our last night. It's about a 25 minute walk to the center or Florence so if you can find closer i would go with that. Not the cleanest place either and the environment isn't really for young people.

I stayed in a double private room and surprised me there're towels in the room. It's like a 2-3 stars hotel room rather than a hostel. All the staff were friendly except one blond girl, hostel made a mistake on my bill, they double up my bill and I paid without paying attention. When I noticed that and asked that blond girl, she said if you think there's a problem why you paid...gosh...other than that, it's a nice hostel~cheap breakfast and the location is okay

This is an overpriced backpacker
This is an overpriced backpacker hotel. No facilities save for internet access. Nice and helpful young staff in a very tiny and simple reception. Small rooms with a kitchenet. Flies in the bedclothes. Elevator out of order, obviously for a long time. Excellent location just behind Hotel Negresco.
