Venture further afield and see what's happening in Tingledale, 7 kilometres to the northeast. Many travellers come here for Valley of the Giants and Denmark Dinosaur World. Alternatively, Walpole is 7 kilometres to the northwest of Nornalup. Stop at this place for easy access to the Walpole Country Golf Club and Walpole Jetty.

Albany, 95 kilometres to the east, is a great little excursion Use it as a base when stopping by the Brig Amity Replica, the Old Farm on Strawberry Hill and the Princess Royal Fortress Military Museum. If you need more persuading, other nearby sights include Albany Entertainment Centre and Old Gaol Museum.

Getting outdoors and experiencing the region doesn't get much better when your options include activities like mountain biking and rock climbing.

"Was a cabin with ensuite. Very neat and tidy. Very comfortable bed, T.V was hard to connect to internet but I think that'll the universe telling us to disconnect from devices and connect to the beautiful surroundings. The shower head needs to be changed in unit 9, as the flow was terrible. Grateful ..."

"Very comfortable chalet 2A looking out on the gazebo and inlet - beautiful! The chalet we had did not have aircon despite the Wotif page saying it does. It was OK as there are plenty of windows with fly screens and you can use a fan."
