This hotel is a gem! Although our stay was short we really enjoyed the hotel and we would definitely come back if we return to the area. It’s located in a small island with many activities to enjoy- walk, jog, swim, go to the spa. We booked a room overlooking the water and it was extremely nice and quiet. The room had a good size and the bathroom was clean and nice. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
We enjoyed the hotel, it’s nice and located in a beautiful environment. The restaurant however was a disappointment, not because of the food which was fine, but because of the lack of service. It was troublesome finding us a table (we were 3) and we were told several times that the restaurant was only for those who wanted to eat the buffet. Upon arrival at our table we were presented with a menu including both buffet and a la carte so we asked again and got a distinct no letting us know the a la carte was only for take away to be eaten elsewhere on the premises. 20 min after we order another couple was allowed to order a la carte! The restaurant staff was neither friendly nor understanding about this or other issues.
The stay was amazing, feel good environment and clean. The food was great eventhough the menue did not change during our weekend stay. Awesome sourounding nature and play grounds. Hotel area with different activities for the young and adult.
The rooms were so beautiful and cozy. We stayed a sunday night and there were no restaurants, so we had to travel into town. The breakfast wasn't their normal beautiful spread, due to covid and it being a monday. The nature grounds of the hotel are wonderful and so pleasant to walk around in. The only thing we were missing was the food part. The service? well, the hotel didn't think it was any inconvience for us to 'go find our own food'. Okay, we're in the mist of covid, but still a pizza service might have been arranged or something.
The stay was overall great! Very friendly service and staff, beautiful rooms and hotel in general. Also good food and pastries. The inly thing that wasn‘t so perfect was the fact that I wrote via Hotels.com that we wanted a room upstairs with a lake view but we got a room that was the most retired from the lake view, altought it was upstairs. It was still nice but not exactly what we wanted. We were also not said if there were other available rooms with a better direct lake view and were also said that a room change was not possible.
In general it was still a very nice stay despite that fact.

Lovely relaxing location; limited facilities
Lovely location if you just want to relax and enjoy nature. Accommodation perhaps more expensive than it should be. Breakfast okay, but hot food wasn't hot as left out as a buffet and not enough guests for adequate turnover. In fact, so few guests that I'd have thought some food could be cooked to order. Best to buy own food for picnic meals during the day as other options limited. Staff are helpful.
