Lovely Outdoor Space
This property is in a lovely location with some marvellous outdoor options. It is close enough to Ottawa to be able to experience all the area has to offer yet far enough out to find peaceful relaxation if you prefer. The houseboat is such a unique experience. The host is very helpful and personable.

Property was as described in the ad so no suprises. The host had a personal emergency but still made sure that we had what we needed and took the time to show us how everything worked. Would definitely go again. The area is very scenic being right on the river. Worth it.

Reconnecting on the water
The pictures don't do the property justice. When we arrived, we were so excited to stah on a house boat. The location was great easy to find. Its a great distance from town close drive but far enough away from the hustle and bussle. It is located near a road that the odd truck can be heard(we're from a big city so it didn't bother us and was quieter then we're use to) the water and scenery around was gorgeous, the first morning we woke up to a family of otters playing in the water my girls were in love. There was a paddleboard and kayak for our use which we used everyday. Trevor was very friendly and helpful during our stay and was very easy to get a hold of it we had any questions. We had amazing weather and enjoyed every part of our stay. Because it is near water(in water) there is lots of bugs so if your not a fan of bugs this is not for you, however with some big spray and access to inside we survived. It was great to get away from the hustle and bussle of the big city and connect with nature and hang out as a family with no distractions. Our girls had no wifi,tv,video games and not once did they complain they were bored. We had a great stay, great sleep and a great view. Next time we may try driving the boat. truck could be heardsomeone's h but we

Good place to stay
The houseboat is a fun place to stay. Bedrooms are wall to wall bed with no room for luggage, but it IS a houseboat. One bed up in the loft so someone needs to climb the ladder. No air con but fans and open window cooled at night. Well equipped with dishes etc. Nice bedding. Could use some newer towels. Really clean. The host could not have been more accomodating. A pleasure to deal with. Would stay here again!
