La Bougainvillea was an excellent choice for my fiance and me to enjoy my birthday. It is centrally located on the island, which worked great for us because we have family in the South and spent time there as well as in the North. The grounds are secluded and private. We drove up a hill to reach the property. We were surprised to see an EV charging station on-site; immediate kudos for that, as we believe electric vehicles on the island are the future. Anyway, the lobby area is quaint and quiet. We were greeted by Q, who is a wonderful lady. She is the general manager, and she made us feel welcome immediately. She is very warm and personable. The infinity pool is beautiful, the bar and restaurant are beachfront, and the service was great. We stayed in an ocean-view room, which was very romantic. It is a room where couples can connect. The shower is in the room but in a very aesthetically pleasing position. There's no TV in this room, but watching your partner shower can be entertaining and interactive enough. :) My favorite experience by far was the beach. The sand was soft and untouched, the water was so blue and beautiful, and we had the beach to ourselves for hours. If you want to feel like you're on a secluded island for real, then this is the place for you. The peace and serenity was unmatched. The food was delicious, too. It was a tad expensive, like $34 for a burger, BUT it was tasty and fresh. Book your stay with La Bougainvillea; you will love it!

Great place and beach for a couple. We really enjoyed our stay. If you like fresh air all brand new screens and windows which is rare for Eleuthera. Many places simply rely on ac and non operable windows or screenless. We found we had everything we wanted: beach umbrella, chairs, blanket, towels. Comfortable bed! Owners very respectful of our privacy yet accommodating!!! Highly recommend!!

Can’t wait to come back! The care taker Mercy and her husband was amazing! Locals are so friendly! The house is wonderful and the view is so stunning! The owner’s response immediately! Thank you for all the hospitality!!!

The property is well kept, nice and clean and steps from an amazing empty beach. The kitchen is a bit tight (but was definitely sufficient).Key was left in a lock box and easy to check in/out.Backup generator saved us when there was a power outage right in the middle of cooking dinner. The generator was able to keep the cooktop and oven on as well as all the lights.

Location and view are wonderful. Facility is clean an d bed i s com fo Location and view is wonderful. Beach acces is an issue if you are elderly our handicapped. The people are great. Give it a thumbs up!

We booked this trip one week before we left. The owner was very accommodating of the last minute booking. The property was better than described. Beautiful remote location with the beach almost totally to ourselves as far as we could see. I 100% recommend this property.
