This is a solid Holiday Inn property with all the standard good quality one would expect - clean, well furnished, comfortable mattress and good shower, with a very good breakfast (which include pancakes and yogurts). What did shine above other similar properties for us was the staff, which was super courteous and helpful from check in to check out. On our last day, for example, I was struggling trying figure out how to handle all the luggage without a cart because I couldn’t find one, the front desk clerk noticed I needed assistance and called the staff in each floor to try and locate a cart. Since none was available, they kept an eye out for it, and once there was one available, they set it aside and called my room. As a plus the place is convenient to the lake and the South Entrance of Yosemite.

Almost everything was as good as it could be, however, the air conditioner smelled like sweaty feet and vinegar. So whenever the ac turned on, it filled the room with that nasty smell. Hopefully they do a little bit of cleaning on those in the future so the next guest doesn’t have to stay through that like I did.

Excellent hotel and great location! Perfect base for our family of four visiting Yosemite. Many restaurant choices nearby, including a great bbq place across the street. Most importantly, the entire hotel staff was outstanding! I unfortunately left two shirts in the closet and didn't know until I arrived to our hotel in LA. Called the hotel to see if they had it, and they did. They told me to create a shipping label with a carrier of my choice, and they would gladly package and mail my forgotten items. Particularly Chase, who truly went above and beyond helping me out! Thank you!
