I checked in but I couldnt stay because of the smell of the room, I checked out in the same day and left, it was a bad choice, the whole place look like homeless residency than a hotel, I wish I can get a refund for it.

Not a nice Hotel. Could be nice with renovations and getting rid of the dirtiest carpet I’ve ever seen.. carpets were not clean or vacuumed. Furniture is old and dingy. Our toilet didn’t flush properly the overhead fan squeaked.. the bedding seemed clean…. pretty much the only redeeming quality was the location next to the ocean and food. If they put some money into the place, it would be a real gem.

Will Not Stay Again!!

Was not a pleasant stay, entering smells like smoke and hallways smelled like smoke. Room carpet was dirty and sticky, kitchen floor was sticky. Beds were not comfortable.

Location is great!! Walking distance to beach, bowling alley is next door and a huge plaza with restaurants, shops and grocery stores across the street. You don't really need to drive any where since every thing you need is walkable. The hotel does need serious updating. The tvs, furniture and carpet is super old. Get a room by the water it makes ups for the outdated rooms.

OK 4 night stay, could be better could be worse

It was alright, not great. Not what we hoped for. We wanted a home from home type suite outside the centre of San Francisco. In hindsight I think we should have been better in the centre as this wasn’t much cheaper. We’re not picky travellers but even here was a bit much. The cooking facilities we wanted were extremely limited. Laundrette was good. We didn’t go in the pool. Carpets worn and lumpy. Some parts of the room like between the bed and bedside unit hadn’t been cleaned for months. Breakfast limited but ok. Location is nice near the beach but the bowling alley next door was noisy on the Friday night. Looks like the place used to be nice but looks like the owners are doing the bare minimum to keep it going, and so caught between trying to be cheap or full service and achieving neither.

This hotel is a little dated but it is in an excellent location - only one block to the Alameda beach and shoreline. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Located in a safe quiet area with awesome views of SF just steps away! Great value for the money.

Just saw bottom-end rooms (got the most economical), and my room was old and in great disrepair. But it was clean, and the hotel staff was very responsive to everything, and immediately moved me in a room that suited my needs. Best qualities: location (across the street from both a beach on the Bay and a shopping center with grocery, restaurants, and clothing and specialty stores; and the responsiveness of the staff.

The room I was in was very run down; curtains had holes and burn marks, walls weren't clean, rug was crudgy, floor sticky, pretty gross overall. Great location, but hard to take the condition of the room.

The room was dirty, outdated and filthy! Stained furniture with tears in the fabrics. The toilet flushed only once then needed to be refilled by hand. Mildew in the shower! I wouldn’t recommend anybody to stay here!
