Hotels should not be charging for parking especially when your stating they are not liable for lost or damaged. Hotel carpets very outdated needs a refresh. Out side are just looks very run down not appealing to the eye

Hotel must have been purchased within the past ten years. The lat time I stayed in 2015 I didn't have to pay $18 a day for parking, and their breakfast included real food like eggs, sausage and bacon, not packaged Egg'o Waffles with absolutely no syrup offered with them. The cookies they offer during the evening were also three times the size. These are obvious changed by a new owner trying to cut costs and increase revenue in other ways. The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are clean but very run down. The cabinetry is all scratched and worn. Doors hang off from broken hinges. But otherwise, they're not bad. The property itself is well maintained. The elevators sound like they're in need of servicing. Forcing their customers to pay $18 a day for parking, in an open parking lot with no security is just ridiculous. I've stayed a much better hotels in New Orleans that don't charge for parking. Plus its a shared parking lot with the restaurant next door so can probably just park over there and walk the extra ten yards. Reducing the breakfast down to all packaged garbage you can get at Walmart is just a blatant sign of a cheap owner. Next time I come to town I'll look at the hotels in Hayward instead.

Great stay

Nice clean place. Felt safe compared to other areas of Oakland we’ve stayed. Staff was kind. Loved overlooking the old harbor and seeing and hearing the planes take off and land. Walls are paper thin, bring earplugs.
