We were pleasantly surprised by the room size, cleanliness, location right on the boardwalk, easy parking, and the staff/housekeeping- every time I walked outside, staff was cleaning something! When I requested housekeeping while we were out with our dog, staff cleaned our room within an hour. We have been visiting OC for over 20 years, and this hotel by far has been our best lodging!

The location is great. The property itself is pretty old, but we stay there because the three bedrooms suite. Only like the one that DOES NOT have the bedrooms connected. Having the bedrooms connected, it was awful and the air-conditioning didn’t get it all into the bedrooms.

Not all parts of the hotel had elevator access. This was not on the Expedia booking info when we originally booked here. The hotel was extremely accommodating when i calked them to explain our party had an elderly person with heart issues with us.

The hotel is nice, we were in the ocean side room, it was rather small, but balcony made it more roomy in a way. Great beach access.The only thing I didn’t like was people smoking everywhere around the property,next to the pool or on the parking lot,even though it was saying everywhere that it is smoke free facility…

Check in was very easy. It was mostly done online, and we went to the desk just for our room key. At first, we were given a room on the first floor facing an alley. The room had almost no view and an unpleasant smell that I couldn’t get used to. I returned to the front desk and asked for a room switch. They couldn’t accommodate me that night, but promised a switch the next day. Although they couldn’t tell me an exact time, they sent me a text at 8:30 am telling me the new room was already available. It was great- clean, and had an amazing 180 degree view of the ocean. The staff was very responsive via text. The pros: nice pools/pool areas, good location, ample parking, friendly staff. The con: spotty WiFi.

We got an ocean view room on the second floor, it was a great decision, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise experience. Great location. Room was very clean, I loved the shampoo, conditioner, soap system (bottles on the wall filled up, no more little soaps and little shampoo/conditioner bottles going around). Confortable beds. I didn't like hallways and stairs, I know mut be so hard to keep them clean with all the guests bringing sand and water all the time, so the smell in these areas are not the best, some stairs tiles were broken/dangerous.

The location of the hotel is great but the rooms are subpar. They are spacious but only double beds. There is no space to put things because the bathroom only has a pedestal sink and there is no mirror in the room - only a small not clear mirror in the bathroom. It makes it hard for multiple people to get ready. And there’s not even room for toothbrushes, face wash and the normal stuff you’d put on the counter in the hotel. They didn’t even put a shelf! There just isn’t room for anything and it is so inconvenient. The bathrooms on a cruise ship are better. For the price I had higher expectations. I wouldn’t stay here again,

This is our 6th year staying here. The GM has always gone above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable. The entire staff, including housekeepers are extremely friendly & accomodating to your needs. Family friendly property as well as pet friendly. Both pools are really nice the main poop has a little splash pad, the pool bar is an added bonus. Rooms are always clean.

10/10!!! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! I booked the Queen studio and it was spacious enough for 4 adults plus 2 kids. There’s 2 pools plus a little kiddie splash pad. It’s located right on the boardwalk with direct access to the beach. I would def recommend this hotel to anyone and will def be returning!

Parking can be hectic as I am handicapped and could not always get a spot close. I had one lil incident and it was handled promptly and professionally.
