The service at the 2 restaurants on the property was less then deserving. We felt that we were putting the staff out with wanting to eat in the 2 restaurants. They were not friendly at all.

Being the Grand Hotel. It needs some updating. The wall paper was bubbled because of water issue above us. The rug was nasty. The windows that are on the board walk were filthy. I would think they could wash them daily or even weekly.

We had an ocean front room that was veey nice. The checkin staff were great and accomodated our requests fir joining rooms, on a mid height floor courteously. The one thing that could use improvement is the bathroom. It was clean but dated. The restaurant on the 6th floor was about a 7 out of 10. Everything else was perfect. We will stay again a d recommend to friends and family.

It was a great view and beautiful beachfront. We liked the hotel, but it might need a little additional updating and TLC. The amenities were ok, not anything special. And unfortunately we were disappointed in the offerings for dining. What was advertised wasn’t a reality and we had to search elsewhere. But all in all we enjoyed our stay!

The front desk staff is outstanding, friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping does a great job. The room was wonderful without carpet. The view was perfect. Bed was comfortable. Hotel is convenient right at the boardwalk. Only problem we has was parking. Oversized vehicle couldn't fit in garage, not permitted on street. Was told we could have a 15 minute spot but there was always a small car there that never left. They offered a grassy spot but it was sketchy and unlit. They really tried to help but they could only do so much. The Grand needs to do a MUCH better job having guests with cars use the garage NOT the only spaces oversized vehicles can fit in. We couldn't find a spot one night at 11 pm, so we awkwardly had to ask the nice desk manager at The Days Inn next door if we could buy a parking pass to their lot. They kindly issued us one. We have been coming here since 2000 but now we have a large vehicle and I don't know if I want the stress of not being able to park.
