This property is on the Ogunquit waterfront, not really an oceanview, but you can walk across the sand bar at low tide and climb the dunes to see the ocean. We booked a room, which as it turned out, was in a small two story building, three rooms each on the top and bottom floor. We were assigned rooms at ground level, which meant our "overlooking the pool" view was actually of the parking lot in front of our room. The rooms had been redone and were very nicely appointed. However, they were incredibly small, not even allowing the opportunity to open two suitcases. The nightstand on one side of the bed was at a weird angle since there wasn't room to put it beside the bed. The ceiling was lower the normal as well, contributing to the claustrophobic feeling. The bathroom was great with a beautiful walk-in shower, but the CFM on the fan was woefully inadequate, so even the unused towels felt damp. Try to book one of the cottages, which look awesome, and come equipped with screened in porches. The property is a hidden gem but these "hotel" rooms were just too small for real comfort.
