Located in convenient location with lots of restaurant on the area. The hotel itself is in great conditions and the rooms are clean and the staffs are friendly. It would have been better if they have at least scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu. Overall, it’s a great value.
If you do not mind Moldy Smell (Kabishu) of the Room and the Corridors, then you can stay here. Mold in the air is unpleasant and can be a problem for your health.
I recommend you stay away from this Property.
The Breakfast is bland.
Some Front Desk Staff are unfriendly.
Be sure to bring your Google Translator along with you.
The hotel is nice and all but sooooo much plastic everywhere!! Each bun at breakfast comes in a plastic. The breakfast buffet is extremely disappointing. There 4 or 5 kinds of bread, some machine for miso soup and one option of coffee. 2 options for cold drinks. On the plus side, there is a massage chair in the room, which is awesome.
Overall it meets their 3.5 star rating. It is decent for a single traveller. A big plus for me is the great deal I got from Expedia. So I considered that in my rating. Very importantly it is clean and housekeeping even left a note noting why certain areas i.e. unfinished toiletries/drinks were left untouched as I would prefer. The ventilition in the bathroom and the bed (can feel the spings) can be improved but I am mindful that we are rating a 3 to 3.5 star hotel here. And the bathtub is a welcoming respite after a full day on your feet sighseeing. Thank you Hotel Blion for having me.

Liked: Cleanliness
The Breakfast was very basic and repetitive. The room was clean and neat.
The bathroom had an awful smell, like wet mold. It was physically very uncomfortable to be in there. The staff members were also not friendly at all - very unlike all my other experiences with hotels in Japan.
