Not a good experience
This was not a good experience. It started with check in. They gave my room to someone else. Luckily, that someone else had the same type of room (2 queens). Get upstairs to the room and everything seemed fine, left for a while and got back to find the room keys no longer worked. The staff said their whole key system was down and none of the keys in the hotel worked. So either someone had to stay in the room to let others in or the staff had to come up with you to let you in your room. So we go back to our room to watch the SEC championship game only to find out our TV does not work at all. Staff does not try to fix the TV instead offers us to switch rooms. So I asked that since I have to switch rooms, could I get an upgrade. The front desk responds "Are you a club member?" What club? the pissed off customer club? At this point I'm a card carrying member! So no upgrade and we have to drag all our stuff across the hall to another room while the game is going on. No form of compensation offered or given. Doubt I will ever be using this hotel again.

My family had a really nice stay here!
My kids loved the complimentary hot chocolate bar and the indoor pool. We all enjoyed the breakfast included with our stay, there were lots of options. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating.

Won’t stay here again.
Clicking noises throughout the night. Window unit very noisy, smoke detector missing with raw wires sticking out where the detector was supposed to be. Breakfast, watery eggs and steamed bacon. One apple on the fruit tray. No one at the checkout counter when we got ready to leave.

First of all the staff was wonderful and the room was very clean. We had a few small issues but they were resolved quickly. Considering it is an older hotel, good deal.
