Just an average stay

Just an average old hotel thats been remodeled. Not very conveniente. Have to access rooms thru the main lobby. Even if you park on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Plus you pay for parking by the hour. Its also public parking so no gaurantee if you leave. Must pay each time. you leave. No microwave. Must also pay for wifi. Not much for what it costs. Much better deals in the same area. The pool is near the parking garage. Wear a coat if you are not getting in the pool.

Stuck on elevator.

Stay was ok, hotel was packed due to state wrestling. Most horrible experience with elevators as we got stuck in one for about 20 minutes. It was the parking garage elevator and the temps were the lowest the had been all year, a lady with a baby was in the elevator with us good thing she had multiple blankets for the baby as it was freezing. When we called about the elevator being stuck the 1st time no one answered. We had to call back before they sent someone.

Great atmosphere. The location was very convenient as we had an event at CHI Health. The service was great. The food was great. We used the Skywalk to get to our event, it was below zero so this was very convenient. The parking was easily accessible and the stay was very satisfactory. Would definitely recommend to others!

Not worth what you pay

It was okay but the mattress needs replacing and the room is not what I expected for the price I paid. It has been beaten up and even the painted spots doesn’t hide this. Check in was odd in that they didn’t have a room assigned with what I had paid for such as a roll in shower. Thankfully there was one available. The parking fee was unexpected and outrageous. I asked for a late check out so we could use the hot tub or at least eat the breakfast we paid for and take a shower …. Very unwilling to do this and it has been upsetting. The bartender got mad and a bit cross when my daughter didn’t tip. But she works a similar job and with a stress fracture. No one tips her. He rushed her and knowing how busy it had been …. It was unnecessary to be that rude. The convenience of it was great and lunch was nice … but considering we could have gotten the room cheaper and for what we did pay I am extremely disappointed.

The hotel was very nice. We were disappointed the restaurant was closed on Sunday. We didn’t get our Omaha steak, But they did offer a limited menu at the bar. The hamburgers were very good with excellent beef and great salad. The bar tenders very friendly and helpful and there was a lively time watching the football game. The shuttle service was very good. They were friendly and accommodating and started at 4 AM making it easy to get to early morning flights. The coffee shop menu looked good and opens at 5.30 am. Unfortunately we did not have time to eat there. But the kind shuttle driver waited while I got a coffee since we were only passengers. We are elderly and everyone was very helpful.
