Great stay
We enjoyed our stay at Chris's place. It was super clean. We really liked the trail behind the house down to the creek, and so did our dogs! The house is less than 30 minutes from Ricketts Glen State Park, which was great too.

We really enjoyed the porch, surrounded by trees, overlooking the river. The owner was great to deal with, very attentive and quickly responded to the couple questions that we had. Even had luck fishing!!

Such a beautiful setting!
A charming cabin. We absolutely loved it! Two things: we had to buy a box fan.. the August heat was too much for the window AC. We loved the kayaks, but access to Huntington Creek was very difficult. I realize that a small deck over the creek would likely get damaged by winter storms, but perhaps a set of steps. Five stars!

This was such a cute cabin. Very clean and updated inside. Stocked with towels and bed linens which was so nice! It is a little walk to the creek down the hill .we had a 3 yr old and 6 yr old that it was a little steep for them at some parts but with our help they made it up and down. My husband and 10 yr old enjoyed exploring the creek on the kayaks. While we stayed here we went to knobels one day an easy 35 minute drive there and then the other day we went to Rickets Glenn about 25 minute from cabin.and highly recommend visiting there! Overall we had a fun few days making memories with our kids.

Peaceful weekend get away
The property was fantastic and had everything we needed. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch overlooking the creek, kayaking, fishing, and an afternoon fire for lunch. Proximity to Bloomsburg is great dining options if desired, but what we enjoyed most was just relaxing at the cabin. Owners were thoughtful, responsive and accommodating. We will definitely revisit this wonderful property.

Our visit to Creekside cabin
What a lovely place! We stayed here for just a few days, my husband, myself, and our 16-year-old grandson. Our grandson loves nature photography and spent hours on the trail to the water and sitting by the water. The house was clean and comfortable. The View from the patio was lovely, especially at night with the lights that mark the trail to the water. Everything we needed was there with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of clean towels, a comfortable bed, linens, and pillows. We are already discussing when we can come back in the spring. (And one important note there is a Switchback Trail to the water that I was easily able to manage as a grandma in her 60s!) We heartily recommend this place!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Place is well kept, clean, and stocked. Check in, check out process is easy, very thoughtful hosts. Really enjoyed the welcome note, switchback down to the water and just listening to the birds at dusk and dawn while sitting on the deck. No complaints. Would stay here again and recommend to others. This home was cute and had everything we needed for our stay. It was just me and my husband and we felt safe and comfortable in the home. Things were updated and well maintained. It was about 20 minutes to Ricketts Glen which is one of the reasons we choose this place. The hiking was amazing!

Getaway
Overall was a pleasant experience. There was a free roaming rooster that woke us up at 5 am each morning. Had to have the windows open because the ceiling fan in the bedroom was noisy and couldn’t keep it on. Needs to be replaced. You do have a road in front of the cabin with a lot of traffic. Wasn’t as secluded as I would have liked.

Beautiful views, will stay again!
The place was clean, inviting, and comfortable. The views of the back of the house/ deck are gorgeous. Would love to stay in warm weather to take advantage of the kayaks and the creek. Just a short trip to Rickett’s Glen State Park to hike! If you plan to cook there, bring everything you need- the kitchen was a little sparse. Can’t wait to stay again!
