When we arrived they told us our reservation had been canceled and we would have to rebook, when I I asked how they said the payment was attempted to be taken 24 hours in advance if it didn’t go through the hotel cancels the reservation. I’m not sure what their game was because I had just made the reservation 6 hours prior to getting there, I also selected pay at the hotel, and hotels.com had the reservation confirmed still. So the lady doubled back and said she reinstated our reservation at the rate we were supposed to get charged. After that we got a room on the 5th floor, the whole floor smelled like mildew. Our room was good but the bathroom ascetically was good for the most part, the shower floor wasn’t good at all. I travel with bleach wipes and even having to request them to come clean the bathroom
it was still dirty (looked like dried blood on the sink and wall). We got there late and went to the restaurant upstairs, the service was terrible and it was dirty when we sat at the bar the bartender actually attempted to serve us and the counter was covered in what looked like someone spilled their drink, so I kindly asked them to wipe it down we had a drink and left. I am not sure why the floor was slippery in the elevator but I ended up falling, I asked for ice packs never received them. The hotel is in walking distance to mostly everything, we walked to breakfast, universal studios and the outlets this was our main reason for staying. The staff was okay as well.
