Went there last min for evacuation for the family during hurricane Milton as it was one of the only places who would accept multiple cats and dogs, staff was very polite and professional but the room and hotel was horrible. Saw a roach when we first walked in and the place looked like a crack den. Was it a fine experience yes, would I go back no. Staff did the best they could with what they had.

The worst experience of my life. In the middle of a cat 5 hurricane I was told after driving 2 1/2 hours that your company had canceled my reservation for what reason I don’t know. Imagine what went thru my mind. What to do now? I’m done talking about it so I think it’s time for some action. Dave Lewis

This is an Econolodge that must have been nice in 1960. It is rundown with boarded up windows. The reception area is a disaster. They only accepted CASH for deposits and room extensions. On the plus side, the room was clean and if you stayed in there you were okay. At least the rooms were in a hallway and not open to the outside. The Aircon, microwave and bath all worked. The shower had good pressure and hot water. We had to stay since we had pets and the hurricane was coming- so as a LAST resort...but we will never stay here again. It needs to be completed knocked down and rebuilt.

The pictures on here are not what the property looks like, same with the room- not even close. we had 4 people and got 3 towels. Had to beg for another roll of toilet paper, ice machines broke, key cards didn’t work. Toilet was broke. They were cash only. Very ghetto. Very upset as we evacuated to there due to hurricane. Looked like a homeless shelter.

My stay was nice rooms are clean, the problem I had with them was they rented my room out before I even checked out, I wanted to add another day because there was a hurricane coming but couldn't cause they already rented my room out I thought hotels wait on you to check out but not this one.
