Big room and nice view on the third floor! The mattress was little worn out! 2 balconies to sit on was nice, the negative was that the spiders had taken over the balconies, hotel staff should make sure the balconies were swiped down when cleaning the rooms!

The staff from the sweet woman at check in, Rooftop bartender, Hostess to the Server.They are what made our over night stay a pleasure.. Our view was killer.. Kids screaming at 10:30 was a little much but not a hotel problem.. A parent issue.. The rooms are dated but except for the bath tile are clean.. The tile has black mold with algae and with proper cleaning could have helped. Walls were peeling. But I guess that is why the rooms here are cheaper here and it’s not a 3 star hotel.. Just because of the cleanliness won’t return. But the Staff 5 star!!

The property is expensive for the current condition of the facilities. Room was clean but carpet, bathroom, and other amenities were too old. We got an end room, for some reason, the room smelled weird, maybe because it was near the bathroom of a conference ball room. Staff members working in the restaurants and bars were super nice and friendly. The scene was stunning.

I really like this place but the owners are not keeping it up to the standards you expect of a classic hotel like this one. It’s truly sad to see it being neglected. I’ve been going here since 1969 and have always thought it had the best location and majestic lobby.

The property has several amenities that are wonderful, but the rooms and outdoor structures are showing many years of neglect and need major repairs. Siding is rotting, railings on balconies are rusted, bathrooms have lots of mold, carpets in hallways are rippled, so on and so on.

I spent my honeymoon there in 1981. The area is exceptional and amenities are great. Rooms and basic facilities need updating and remodeling. Hotel service was very good. Restaurant was limited when open and food was poor.

It was not up to Lodge of the Four Season standard that I’m used to. The carpet in the hall was stained and had big ripples in it like it was old and not laid properly. The bathtub had damage and had permanent can stains in it like it was filled with ice and used as a cooler. No complementary coffee in the lobby. The hotel looked like a wore out party hotel

Tired Hotel with Fabulous View
Such a tired hotel that was once such a fabulous resort. The view is fantastic, so you can enjoy sitting on your private balcony. That's still a great feature for this hotel/resort. But the many updates and repairs needed are hard to overlook. The shower was so stained, grout gone, faucet not functioning... I was scalded by the old faucet that wouldn't stay in position as it's so loose. Thank goodness it wasn't a child. And I went to dry my hair and the dryer had smoke coming out of it. I'd love morning more than to see this gem restored to is forget glory. Enjoy the view and be willing to tolerate the rest. (The pools looked great).
