Everything was good except during check in, hotel staff needed to have reservations name to be exactly the same as passport even though I could proof my identity and no other hotels require this verification. This delayed my check in time for 20mins which was unnecessary.

The hotel is nice in general. Only a few minutes away from train stations and shopping area. But our room was not clean (the bed and pillows had lots of hair on them). The staff switched our room right away.

This hotel has no soul or personality. It is an an amorphous blob dropped into an urban concrete setting. It lacks design decor and inspiration. You are in a hotel. You don’t feel you are in Japan. It is the epitomy of capitalism. A product to extract. It is located in a train hub and any towers of offices and stores. Shopping online with Amazon from your home country would be easier. The “stations” are painful to navigate. Most stores are too expensive and have exclusive brands. There are many restaurants. Osaka is a very modern city with a few interesting sites- none near here. My advice not this hotel for sure and not this area. Avoid the largest cities of Japan. Once you see some shrines temples and magnificent gardens in one city don’t rinse and repeat in the next. Suggest secondary cities near mountains or ocean and a sense of Japan. People are accessible in smaller Centres and the staff at this hotel are not warm or welcoming. They are Perfunctoty and check in and out is done at terminals . AI has taken over and you are visiting a robotic environment here. Don’t waste time or energy.

Best hotel we’ve stayed in Japan. Breakfast buffet is really nice and worth the money. A good coffee shop is located within the building. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are luxurious, and staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
