Location was ok since it was close to the train stations and Dotonburi. Our room was pretty tight but surprisingly, we were able to make our luggages fit. There is a lack of personal attention to guests being that it's a big property. Common areas feel too run down and not kept clean. On the day when our rooms were supposed to be cleaned, they weren't. There are washing machines for public use but not enough (only 3), since it is a big property with many guests, it is a challenge to get an available one and queues are long. I would restay maybe if its a short stay and favour the location over anything else. Otherwise, will consider somewhere else next time.

Great location! The hotel is a bit older and was probably our least favourite of the hotels we stayed on during our Japan trip. Still great and worth it, especially because of the location!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. They have a strict check in policy where you can’t get in one minute before the schedule check in time and the lobby gets filled with 100 people or more all waiting to check in, but they have five check in kiosk so the check-in goes fairly fast. They have a decent breakfast buffet that also gets really crowded. Even if you go as soon as it opens there will be a line. I don’t know if that’s cultural, but everybody seems to want to have their breakfast early so there was a line that snaked around the eating area. Like I said in general, I liked the hotel, the staff was always very helpful and friendly, and because of the location, two blocks from Dotonburi area and just up the street from the fish market food and entertainment was convenient. It really is a great location to have fun. I believe the nearest Metro is about three blocks down the street from the hotel.

Perfect location in Osaka

This was our first time to Osaka. This place is in the perfect location. You can walk everywhere. There were tons of places to walk to. The room was perfect for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Extremely comfortable place to stay at, Especially during the winter, wasn't bad at all! Beds are great, Table is great, although there is one thing to consider if you're a JR Pass User: Osaka Metro is the only convenient transportation around here, but it doesn't get covered by the Pass at all. If you want to save money, and use the benefits of your pass, I would not recommend staying here. Otherwise, It's a great choice to stay!

I stayed in a Superior Double Non-smoking Room for 6 nights on level 8 of the hotel. I had booked 2 rooms for 4 pax. The room was small but to be expected in Japan and for the price paid. I only had 1 full size luggage so was manageable. Importantly it was clean and bed was comfortable. As it's winter, I would open the window slightly to cool the room as the centralised air-conditioning was emitting hot air though this can be turned off. Overall it was still comfortable and does not affect my sleep. The toilet was also much smaller than expected with a small bath tub. Not convenient for older folks to climb into the tub to shower. The hotel was near to Dotonbori shopping district with many F&B choices and shops all within walking distance. Just outside the hotel was Nippombashi station making it convenient for travelling. 15mins walk to Namba station which is not too far too. Checking in and out was fully automated using the many machines at the lobby. Very convenient and fast. As we arrived early before check in time, we could also store our luggages at the lobby before going out. Amenities like bath robes, toothbrush, combs, coffee and tea packets are available for free at the lobby area Overall, a fuss free hotel at reasonable price that met my needs. Best part is the close proximity to the shopping district.

The rooms are clean and the location of the hotel is close to the train station as well as several tourist attractions such as the todonburi street. However, the rooms and the toilets are abit small.
