It’s right around the corner from Dotonbori and a short walk from the Kuromon market and Denden town. It’s very convenient and there’s a good complimentary breakfast buffet.

Very convenient location to Namba Walk, Dotonbori and trains. The hotel is in a very busy walkway. Just be mindful but everything you need is within walking distance. Laundry service is very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Too many choices both Western and Japanese food on the menu.

The hotel was very clean, just like in the photos. The lobby had great amenities—vending machines, ice and water dispensers, and seating if you wanted to eat something there. There was also a large laundry room. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was fine—nothing fancy, but totally sufficient, especially if you're on a budget. The room was clean and well lit but snug. Just note that there’s not much storage space—only a rail to hang a few items—so I had to live out of my suitcase. Thankfully, the bed is high enough to slide suitcases underneath. The mattress was very firm, but I’ve heard that’s standard in Japan. The real star, though, was the location—right next to the train station and walking distance to shopping, Dotonbori, and everything else I wanted to see. For a first-time visitor, it was ideal. I’d definitely stay here again.

In this Japan trip, I stayed in 2 Toyoko Inn properties, and this one is the one that I like more since we had better experience. First, it is close to Namba station and Namba Walk shopping / dining complex and Dotonbori market (7 min walk). It is also quite close to Kuromon market and Doguyasuji kitchen shops (around 15 min walk). The staff provided best services and most can communicate in English adequately. They provided me with extra pillow and they also provide daily free breakfast which is quite good and nutritious to start your day. The breakfast has both Japanese and Western food options. They also have many coin laundry and dryer machines to use for guests.

Location is perfect. It is just 6min walk from Namba station and about 10min walk to Dontonburi. Breakfast is inclusive and plenty of coin operated laundry machines. 4pm check-in and 10am checkout times are absurd. The other hotels we stayed offered 3pm checkin and 11am checkout.
