The perfect boutique hotel
Perfect. Great room (large, quiet, comfortable, beautifully decorated). A very cute hotel offering privacy and many amenities, including a heated pool. It is just off the main drag in historic Palm Springs with walking access to many restaurants and shopping. Cannot do better than this hotel for the price. Will definitely stay here again,

Lovely Inn. The pictures don't do it justice. The pool was great, fire pit awesome. Quaint and walking distance to downtown. Very clean!!

Just had my third stay at this property. Clean, classic Palm Springs vibe. Very safe and lovely neighborhood and an easy walk right to the heart of everything. Easy check in and laid back owners. I always look forward to staying here.

What a wonderful spot. So quiet, so peaceful, fresh towels all day long, robust air conditioned rooms, well stocked kitchenette, delicious cold filtered water by the pool, and CRUSHED ICE from the ice maker. We canā€™t wait to come back and stay at this very clean property with these very accommodating hosts. Thank you so much guys!

Had a very hard time getting the AC to work. Communication is done via text. I texted for help with the AC at 7:42pm. I received an automated response saying ā€œThanks for contacting old ranch inn. Weā€™ll get back to you as soon as possible.ā€ We never received a text back. That night we went to bed hot and sweaty. It was 111 degrees that day. You can imagine how horrible this was. The next morning, we left at 6am. We could not take it anymore. We later found out that the AC needed a remote to get going. We also later found out that the remote was under the bed when we were packing. Not cool. Could it have been an accident? Sure. But no communication back when it was extremely hot is ridiculous. If the way they communicate is by text, then thatā€™s what they need to do. There was no one on site to help. Never again.

Some changes since our last visit šŸ™
Love the old ranch inn and are repeat customers but it has been awhile and Covid and new ownership has made some changesā€¦there is no one in the office but a phone number to text should you need anything. Another change, there is no longer a poolside light breakfast for guests, a social opportunity we looked forward to in past. The summer heat was high but the misters were not active. The room was nice and I am sure we will return to the old ranch inn when in PS but it is a new old ranch regarding some services.
