THE place to stay in Pamukkale. It is an oasis in a town with many hotels, but few really good options.
The courtyard between the Venus Suite Hotel and the Venus Hotel (same ownership) has a refreshing pool, lawn with a few lounge chairs, lush trees and bushes, and a good number of well-spaced tables where you can take breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. This courtyard is simply excellent.
Breakfast is quite an assortment. Lunch and dinner menus are good, and they might make something special if you ask. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
We had a Deluxe Double room on the second floor overlooking the courtyard. It had a good amount of space to sit or move about, a large, modern bathroom with a triple shower, and a balcony with chairs and table overlooking the courtyard. Very comfortable and relaxing.
The same room on the third floor would have an even better view of the white travertine pools of Pamukkale. (Too far away to see any detail, but you do see them.)
The triple room on the second floor that we had for one night was OK, but felt much smaller. We were delighted to move to the deluxe double.
Plenty of parking, with about 5 spaces in front of the hotel, and a large parking lot directly across the street.
Easy communication. Flexible check-in and check-out if there is a need.
It's about 15 minutes to walk north to the main tourist area of town.
