This was our 4th stay at Hyatt Place PCB. We call it our little PCB hidden gem. However it seems that it’s not so hidden any more as they were fully booked- which is great!
As usual, everyone was very nice, breakfast was yummy, Coconut Charlie’s was great.
The only unfortunate part is that the air went out in our room during the night into the next day and it was pretty miserable. We were asked to leave for maintenance to fix it, but we don’t know how long it took to get fixed because we didn’t get a call letting us know which caused us to miss part of a beach day.
We also never received any housekeeping services but they did slip a note under the door that they didn’t clean because we had a pet, which we didn’t, so that was odd.
This meant we always had to keep asking for towels. We used to could get them at the front desk to save them a trip, but now someone has to bring them to the room. One evening when we called for towels it took a bit of time (which we are patient and it’s fine) but several hours later when we were downstairs the receptionist asked if we had received our towels because the request was still in the system. But he never followed up to check.
This hotel is still very new, but I truly hope that the amazing quality and service isn’t fading away.
For $500+ a night, these issues kind of have us looking back into staying in condos again for our next stay coming up in PCB. We were just surprised and a bit saddened to have so many problems.
