My family and I had a beautiful stay at The Santa Maria. it definitely felt luxurious, the staff were extremely pleasant and eager to assist. It was far enough from the city where we got to enjoy some peace and quiet but also close enough to book affordable Ubers/taxis to the city. We were able to communicate in both Spanish and English with staff. The resort was huge and allowed us to walk around. We ate dinner at the restaurant on property the first night. The food was sooo good! 10/10, I recommend this property.

5 star Resort property. Very high end property. The staff was SO nice and professional. The room was high end and the bed was super comfortable with super comfy pillows. Andrea the bartender was super friendly and made our night. The breakfast buffet was Fantastic! We will definitely stay here again when in Panama City.

Lovely bed, bedding and bathroom. Our view was of a construction project and parking lot but that’s not the hotel’s fault. We would prefer being able to self park versus being forced to use valet parking.

David and Sara at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful! Carlos at the pool bar was superb! The pool was only crowded 1 day out of our 7 day stay! The restaurant had delicious food! The coffee shop had wonderful pastries! Room was wonderful! Only thing to note: hotel isn’t in downtown Panama City, some tour operators wanted extra $$$ for pickup.
