It lies 100 kilometres to the south of Paris, the capital city of France.

You don't have to be on the road all day to see some nature around these parts. Just 35 kilometres out of Pannes, Charny Fish Pond is a favourite spot to fill your lungs with fresh air. More delightful surrounds are waiting for you at Forêt de Fontainebleau, 45 kilometres away.

Seize the opportunity to go to other close-by sights, such as La Halle aux Chaussures and the Musee Girodet. These are located 4 kilometres southeast in Villemandeur. Don't want to call it a day just yet? Church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine and Chateau Montargis are in Saint-Maurice-sur-Fessard, 4 kilometres to the southwest of Pannes.
