The lodge is located in a very remote location, despite of getting groceries are so inconvenient, Blake showed great generosity and hospitality to all the guests, make us feel like staying in an old friend's house. Everything was there that we needed. So easy to get to Gemstone Beach and have fun fossiking in the stones. Pub handy, and a nice wee community.

It was perfect thank you. Loved how close it is to gemstone Beach. The fact there's a washing machine and everything you need plus more.

Dining at the restaurant was a real treat and surperb. Food was fantastic and satisfied both adults and growing teenage boy. Massive meals, highly recommend the sausage platter and share for two. Yet get to try 4 different flavours with the best chips ever. When you see locals coming in and ordering take home meals - you know its good.

This is a beautiful house with huge windows everywhere and front and back 2nd floor porches. It was very well equipped with appliances and had enough plates, bowls etc for a decent crowd. It's also very close to the beach. Although then-current photos didn't show an oven or stovetop, the house does have them, which made cooking there easy.

Lovely place and beach walks, home was very tidy and had everything we needed. The beds were not too comfortable though. Particularly the kids beds.
