Our room (139) was ground floor, facing west on to a small patio with garden furniture; beyond that, a grassy area with palm trees, which led on to the coastal path walkway, and then down to a sandy beach. In the evening, spectacular sunsets and moonshine flooded into our apartment, which was also convenient for the pool, poolside bar and breakfast areas. A bus stop for the No. 615 into Paphos was directly opposite the hotel entrance and restaurants, pubs and car hire firm were all nearby.
All things considered, our apartment was in an ideal location; the room and self-service breakfast were all eminently suitable; and access to wi-fi in the Reception area was adequate for sending/receiving emails, etc. Reception, cleaning and breakfast/bar staff were efficient, hospitable and spoke ood/acceptable English. On the downside, my wife believed that her favourite scarf may have gone missing from our room; the telephone in our room was noisy and unreliable - Reception advised that there was a problem overall. Overall, Helios Bay Apartment was good value for money.
