The Regina, Central Paris

The A/C had issues during our stay, they tried to fix it & gave us a fan as the temp was 82F outside during the day. The shower leaks into the bathroom due to poor design. The service and location was good.

This is a beautiful property. Conveniently located next to the Louvre.Staff were friendly and courteous throughout the stay. Room service, restaurant, bar area, all exceptional.Housekeeping, truly top notch. After a busy day on the town , to come back to an immaculate room, was such a great feeling.It was our anniversary, and the hotel fulfilled my request of roses and champagne with no issues whatsoever.Would definitely stay here again

Fora first time visitor to Paris, a city I’ve always dreamed of experiencing, Hotel Regina Louvre was a fantastic property for the beginning of my trip. The stag was so very welcoming and the concierge provided incredible assistance to make my visit even more memorable than I could ever have hoped. Our stay was lovely with the exception of housekeeping repeatedly walking into our room when it was “locked.” The WiFi and casting to the tv were impossible. However, with the exception of housekeeping, staff was attentive, thoughtful and kind.

This was quite possibly the worst “five star hotel“ I have ever stayed at. I am not one to complain, but this ruined my trip to Paris. The floor was dirty when we walked into the room and despite having a cleaning service, the floor was never cleaned. There was incessant knocking at all hours of the day and night, which prevented me from sleeping. I mentioned this to the front desk and they were not helpful in remedying the situation. There were no VIP amenities. I asked about the free room upgrade and they offered to upsell me to get the upgrade. Expedia should no longer have this hotel as part of their VIP properties. Your money is better spent at any other hotel considering the conditions.

Not worth the price per night

To advertise as 5-star, we expected much more from this hotel unfortunately. The car service was extremely expensive, we had to request towels, no bathrobes, no bidet. The room was charming and decorated well and we slept very comfortably. But for the cost per night vs perks received the value was not there. The location to the louvre was nice.
