I had no idea this was a hotel/hostel. It was pretty fun seeing the variety of guests who were staying there. It definitely has a college dorm sort of vibe so my husband and I kind of felt like odd men out. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable, pillows were very tiny. It's an eco hotel so the shower stops after maybe 20 seconds to save water. We did visit the restaurant/bar which was a bit confusing. The hours were clearly posted but after about 15 minutes we got kicked out of the back area because they said they are closed. So that was weird and not posted. The food we had there was good and it has a good view of the city. It is located near Gare de Lyon train station and you can either take a metro or walk to the hotel. There is a metro station very close by. Norte Dame is within walking distance.

We liked the room was faced away from the road so was quiet. There was unfortunately a few things missing from the room, like drinking glasses, face cloths and although there were espresso glasses and pods, there were only 2 provided for 4 guests. There was rubbish from previous guest left on balcony and we wonder if the shower had been cleaned as there was a razor left in there. The rest of the room was clean and beds comfortable.

The shower was awful. While I applaud the desire to reduce impact on the environment, the People have made so many changes in the name of the environment it’s materially impacted the service provided at the hotel. Room size is good.

Relatively easy place to get to from the metro. Shower facilities were a bit challenging having to press the shower button many times for a 10-second sprinkle of water. Better to have a button disperse water for 2-3 mins at a time than to constantly press the shower button for such a short time.

The dangers of a place like this is the other people in the room... There was one gentleman who - I swear - slept 10 hours a day, and snored like a chain saw... Really nice place, very friendly people. Loved it.
