This three-rooms, open-concept apartment (70 m²), TIMBAUD, is on the 1st floor and accessible by elevator: The apartment is very bright thanks to its windows overlooking the Boulevard Richard Lenoir.
It is well-equipped and very central. The wooden beamed ceiling and its furniture give a very warm and cosy atmosphere.

The entrance (9 m²) opens onto the living-room and on the right a spacious hallway with a wardrobe, leads to a toilet, the bathroom and the bedroom.

The living-room (26 m²) facing nord-west/south-east: equipped with a sofa, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. On the window side, there is a table with 3 armchairs, a small desk and a library. The paintings and the furniture give it a particular charm. The windows face Boulevard Richard Lenoir.

The TV living-room (12 m²) facing south-east: equipped with a sofa bed, a bedside table, a TV, WIFI connection, paintings and a floor lamp. This room also communicates with the living-room through a door. It is a bright and quiet room.

The kitchen (6 m²) opens into the living-room and the entrance. It is fully equipped with a complete kitchen battery, dishwasher, refrigerator, induction hob and an oven. As well, it communicates with the TV living-room through a sliding door.

The bedroom (10 m²) facing nord-east contains a double bed, a wardrobe, one bedside table chevet. Quiet and bright bedroom with a window that overlooks Boulevard Richard Lenoir.

The bathroom (5 m²) has a shower, a sink and a washing-dryer machine.

The toilet (2 m²) is in a small, separate room.

Folie Méricourt is a central neighbourhood with a good transport connection. On one side, there is Place de la République near the Grands Boulevards district with its many theatres and Canal St-Martin district with its bars and restaurants. On the other side, there is Le Marais, one of the oldest and most vibrant districts in the city, where restaurants and boutiques abound.

The apartment central location makes it easy to get around the city (five Metro lines at Place de la République giving you access to the Bastille, Madaleine, Opera).

In the past, a working-class district, with many courtyards and passages occupied by craft or industrial activities, as La Maison des Métallos, which nowadays has become a centre of art exhibition. Most of the old workshops have been converted into art galleries or offices for architects, artists and designers.
In recent years, the area has become a trendy and eclectic neighbourhood, that attracts young people to discover the new coffee bars and restaurants.
Between Rue Jean Pierre Timbaud and Boulevard Richard Lenoir, you will find a charming farmer’s market, called Popincourt market, taking place each Tuesday and Friday morning.

Canal St. Martin gem
The apartment is charming and comfortable. Carefully curated to provide a very France vibe. It has everything you need for a long or short stay. Close to metro, buses, many shops and restaurants. Ideal location for sightseeing around Paris. The neighbourhood is lively day & night. Light sleepers may need ear-plugs. We arrived at 5pm. Due to illness no one could meet us. We had to travel to another location to pick up keys. Not a big deal but we were tired after a long trip. Because of our separate itineraries a second set of keys would have been nice. Apparently keys had been lost by previous guests. We managed. Many thanks to the owner for providing such a pleasant place for our week in Paris.

We loved this apartment! It was very clean, very well equipped and incredibly spacious! It could not have been easier to check in and everyone we met during the process was lovely! Two things were drawbacks. One - the bed was very squeaky and also the mattress dips in the middle. Nothing too dramatic. The other was that this is on quite a noisy corner. However…once the windows are closed it really isn’t a problem and being able to walk to Bastille and Républic is very good! Across the road is a farmer’s market twice a week which is excellent. Oberkampf metro station is a minute’s walk away and even closer is a Franprix for groceries as well as two fabulous bakeries! I highly recommend this apartment and it would be close to perfect if the bed was fixed.

Superb appartment
What a great property. Bright & spacious with corner location giving great view. The apartment is very well equipped if you wish to self cater. location is excellent - lots of bars, cafes and restaurants within a short walk and metro is only a minute away. Owner was very helpful, easy to deal with. I would highly recommend and I will certainly rent again next time I visit Paris

I absolutely loved staying here. So close to great restaurants, cafes, and metro lines. An easy walk to Le Marais too. Beautifully decorated, and a breeze to check in and out. Love the neighborhood and the homely feel. You won’t regret booking this apartment!

Charming and spacious flat in good proximity to Pl. Republic and other metro/bus stops. Variety of restaurants close by. Mixed neighborhood with biweekly market across the street. Kitchen oven needed cleaning but otherwise very clean flat. Would book here again for a return visit.

Wonderful apartment
My wife and I rented this property in the 9th near Republic for the month of April (2023). The property was in near-new condition, well-supplied, attractive, comfortable--exactly as described. The neighborhood and location are really great. The apartment is steps away from an outstanding boulongerie (Utopie), a lovely bistro, a creperie, and boutique glacier (Folderol), not to mention Franprix etc. There are twice-weekly markets. The metro stations are Oberkampf or Filles de Calvaire. The corner location affords a good view but not too much traffic noise. The property manager has limited English, but was easy to work with. We were able to converse with the cleaning lady in Spanish. Both did an excellent job. The only downside to this apartment was sizing. I am 2m tall and the ceiling heights are a little low in places and the bed too small. We had a great time and hope to rent this apartment next time we come to Paris.
