Great location but the unit is a bit dated.
The Westgate is a great place to stay for skiing. The Resort is huge and a bit confusing at times but they have everything a skier could wish for. Close to the Gondola, ski valet, ski room, 4 pools, great restaurants, etc. The unit is the furthest from the ski area but it is still very convenient. Our issue is that the unit is very dated, everything is a bit old and needs a massive update. The refrigerator broke during our stay. Maria, the real estate agent, was great giving us a small portable refrigerator but we still didn't have the use of a full size fridge during our stay. Also, the mattress was very old and lumpy.

The property was exactly as described but the individual unit was even better - it was well stocked with glasses, salt, pepper, coffee and coffee supplies, soap, towels and wash cloths, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, etc. Very clean and super convenient to the ski shop and lift.

Beautiful resort, EXCELLENT customer service!
We came to stay for just a few nights and enjoyed it so much that we extended our trip for an extra 4 nights! We had to switch rooms because of the last minute change, but Maria and Joe were so helpful, taking our needs into account and we were able to stay in 2 beautiful 1 bedroom suites! The units were clean and roomy enough to bring in a rollaway bed (my kids didn't want to share although there was plenty room for a family to sleep comfortably without the rollaway). We were able to take full advantage of all of the resort amenities but had the advantage of not being bothered by daily housekeeping unless specifically requested. The steam room in our room was an absolute DREAM! Plenty of cooking utensils, full size shampoo and conditioner, washer/dryer, more than enough blankets and pillows (our family requires A LOT), gorgeous views of the valley...we could not ask for more! We will definitely be coming back and will always rent through White Pines!

Great unit and love Westgate
We love renting in Westgate and this unit was no exception! It had everything you need in the kitchen, tons of extra pillows, extra towels and very helpful hints on welcome sheet. There were two bottles of water and a chocolate bar in fridge to top it off. There was all the coffee and hot chocolate you need for your stay. The kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool and there was plenty of room in hot tubs.

All the comforts of home and more!
We loved our 1 BR suite at Westgate (#4804-A). The bed and especially the pillows were so comfortable. We appreciated the humidifier in our room. We had everything we needed in our kitchen to prepare our own meals. We really enjoyed the sauna/steam shower and jacuzzi tub. We had a beautiful mountain view from our room and enjoyed the fireplace every evening after skiing. Sean, our waiter at The Edge Steakhouse was superb! He took excellent care of us and was very witty, charming and had a great sense of humor! The only negatives were that the suite was quite dusty. Also, on several occasions we called the front desk for information or assistance and no one answered. That was frustrating. The location was not ideal as all of the heavy equipment/maintenance machines and workers were outside our window. The noise was disturbing and woke us up several mornings as early as 5:30 A.M. We would definitely choose Westgate again, just perhaps a different unit.
