Perfect new year stay

From check in to checkout the hotel did not disappoint, I had stayed there when it was a Mecure and not a lot has changed. Special mention had to go to house keeping. Although the hotel is a little tired now the place is spotless and this is down to the hard work of the unsung hero’s

The hotel has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t stay here again as far as the rooms go. The room was dark and humid and needs upgrading. There were no robes or bath slippers in the closets as advertised and the hot water only lasted about 30 seconds in the shower. The staff was not very friendly and in fact when I reported the issue with the hot water, the guy who came to check it, touched it and winced at me as if I was making it up. The toilet in the bathroom leaked. There was water leaking outside on the balcony from some of the pipes. But on a positive note, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pool area was nice as well.

We stayed at Heeton the majority of our trip in 2 different rooms and liked the corner unit very much. We’d like to highlight the wide variety of breakfast options (definitely worth the price) and a large pool area we enjoyed. Most importantly, hotel has a convenient location from Walking Street, the beach and the boat landing. There are plenty of food places and souvenirs shops as well.

A hotels main asset is its staff and Heeton's staff are exceptional. To name a few, Pocky, Pond, Jan and the charismatic doorman Lucky all made my stay a pleasant experience. Highly recommend the hotel and the location to all.

Get what you pay for!

Very good value. Excellent pool. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioner leaked water every night all over floor, but no big deal. One night power went out. Bugs get into room sometimes and end up with bug bites. But for the money you pay it is a good value and a great location!
