Old fashioned style motel but updated and very clean. Away from the busy beach area but close enough to get there when you want to. We would spend part of the day at the beaches then head back to our hotel to relax by the pool. Highly recommend this place!

We brought our small dog a Jack Russell shortie and the night attendant told me there was a $75 DEPOSIT that would be refunded after my stay. No one was in the office at check out for a receipt and I received a message that they charged $25 for the dogs stay and I was only refunded $50. That did not make me happy. I asked several times and made her repeat that it was a DEPOSIT and she said it multiple times.

Our room smelled like smoke even after saying non smoking. All they did was spray febreeze. There were fake nails in the sink when we got there and the door had problems staying shut at times without being locked from the inside.

Waffle House is next door as well as restaurants and grocery stores all in walking distance. The beaches & popular hot spots are a short drive. We will definitely be back.
